    It is not a small or local signing — it is designed as a large-scale, community-driven event.

  • Yes — we have secured a major Welsh venue, with contracts currently being finalised.

    While we are unable to publicly name the venue just yet, it is a large-scale, established event space suitable for a convention of this size.

  • We are projecting 1,000+ attendees for our launch event in 2027, with marketing strategies in place to support this growth.

  • Our marketing strategy includes:
    – Social media promotion across established platforms
    – Collaborations with authors, influencers, and bookish creators
    – Targeted content campaigns leading up to the event
    – Email marketing and community engagement

    As founders, we bring experience in digital audience growth and reader engagement, ensuring strong visibility for the event and its vendors.

  • At Readers and Rebels, we are proud to celebrate authentic creativity and the individuals behind the stories that inspire our community. Our event exists to champion original work created through an individual’s own skill, vision, and labour.

    As such, Readers and Rebels maintains a clear stance on generative AI. We do not permit the use of generative AI in the creation of any creative work associated with the event. This includes, but is not limited to, books, artwork, merchandise, and any content that is sold, promoted, or showcased.

    At the same time, we are committed to fostering a respectful and fair environment for all participants. Allegations regarding the use of generative AI must be supported by clear, credible, and verifiable evidence. We do not engage with or act upon unsubstantiated claims, speculation, or public accusations.

    Automated AI-detection tools, which are themselves AI-based, are not considered reliable or sufficient evidence on their own and will not be used as the sole basis for any action.

    Where concerns are raised with appropriate evidence, they will be reviewed carefully and handled privately. If a breach of this policy is identified, Readers and Rebels reserves the right to withdraw participation, remove items from sale, and take any further action deemed appropriate.

    We ask our community to act in good faith and with professionalism, ensuring that all concerns are raised responsibly and respectfully.
