The Location
Readers & Rebels will take place at ICC Wales, Newport, a world-class convention centre set against beautiful woodland and just off Junction 24 of the M4.
Newport is one of South Wales’ best-connected cities, making it easy for readers, authors, publishers, and bookish businesses to join us from across Wales, England, and beyond. ICC Wales is around 12 minutes from Newport Train Station, 95 minutes from London Paddington by train, and less than an hour from both Cardiff and Bristol airports.
Why Newport?
Newport is a city rich with history, creativity, and Welsh culture. Visitors can explore Tredegar House, Newport Market, Caerleon Roman Fortress, Newport Transporter Bridge, and the beautiful Newport Wetlands Reserve.
For us, Newport is the perfect home for Readers & Rebels: accessible, full of character, and rooted in the kind of community spirit this event is built on.
ICC Wales has over 2,000 on-site parking spaces, with parking available to pre-book or pay for on the day. The venue is also easy to reach by taxi or public transport from Newport city centre and Newport Train Station.

ICC Wales, The Coldra, Newport, South Wales, NP18 1HQ.
